Raajje Divers is a PADI Dive Center and the first mobile dive base in the Maldives. It is run by Maldivian divers from its dive center on Beach Road in Hulhumalé, next to Malé and the Hulhumalé shark site, and it brings the whole dive operation — guides, boat, tanks and safety kit — to any island, resort, guesthouse or yacht across the country’s 26 atolls. The team runs guided dives, PADI courses, the Hulhumalé shark dive, liveaboard and superyacht diving, and commercial diving.

A Brotherhood Born of the Ocean

Raajje Divers represents Maldivian divers united as brothers — with a vision to live and grow together for a lifetime. Our purpose is simple: to earn through diving while staying true to our values and our community.

We embrace all forms of diving — from freediving and recreational diving to commercial operations and private luxury scuba experiences. As a mobile dive base, we are not limited by location: we bring our expertise, discipline and passion anywhere in the Maldives.

We created the mobile concept after recognising a gap in the industry: many guesthouses, resorts and liveaboards can’t offer diving because they have no professional scuba service of their own. Our mobile dive base is designed to bridge that gap.

What Makes Raajje Divers Different

01

We pioneered the Hulhumalé shark site

We studied the Hulhumalé Entrance from its early days, long before it was known as a shark dive, and developed a stationary mooring-line method that keeps every shark dive controlled: divers stay anchored, the sharks come to them. Tiger sharks, scalloped hammerheads, grey reef and spinner sharks, and a hundred-plus stingrays.

Soba has been diving since 2001 and has guided for more than two decades; Buka spent eight years as a dive-safari instructor and ten crewing luxury yachts; Teddie has guided dive and surf trips since 2011. All are PADI Instructors.

Proven on the country’s biggest projects

Our commercial divers provided underwater support for the Sinamalé Bridge — the Maldives’ first sea-crossing bridge, linking Malé and Hulhumalé — and for the Thilamalé Bridge (Malé–Villimalé).
